Sundak EV Car 2026: A Budget Electric Car Set to Rival Tata Tiago EV, Bring It Home at Just ₹10,500 EMI

Sundak EV Car 2026

The Sundak EV Car is shaping up to be one of India’s most affordable and future-ready electric cars, expected to launch in 2026. Designed especially for buyers troubled by rising petrol and diesel prices, this EV focuses on low running costs, eco-friendly technology, and modern features.

Sundak Motors, a 100% Indian company, is preparing to bring a fresh revolution to the electric vehicle market. If you are looking for an EV that is cheaper than Tata Tiago EV or MG Comet EV but still packed with useful features, the Sundak EV Car could be the perfect choice.

This will be the first electric car from Sundak Solar Solutions, expected to debut in India in early 2026.

Sundak EV Car Price and Monthly EMI

The expected ex-showroom price of the Sundak EV Car is likely to be between ₹5.50 lakh and ₹7.50 lakh. On-road prices in Delhi may range from ₹6.20 lakh to ₹8.50 lakh, depending on the variant.

With government subsidies and benefits under the FAME-II scheme, the final price could become even more affordable.

Talking about EMI options, buyers may be able to take this electric car home at a monthly installment of just ₹10,500 to ₹12,500. With a down payment of ₹60,000 to ₹70,000 and a loan tenure of 60 months, this deal becomes extremely attractive.
Compared to Tata Tiago EV, Sundak EV is expected to be around ₹2 lakh cheaper.

Battery Pack and Driving Range

The Sundak EV Car will come equipped with a lithium-ion battery pack, offering a driving range of 180–200 km on a single charge. This range is ideal for daily city commuting and regular use.

Charging options include:

  • Normal charger: Full charge in around 6–7 hours

  • Fast charger: Up to 80% charge in just 45 minutes

An advanced battery management system will help extend battery life, while regenerative braking technology recharges the battery during braking. Sundak is also expected to offer a 5-year or 60,000 km battery warranty, ensuring peace of mind.

Electric Motor and Performance

The Sundak EV will feature a powerful electric motor that delivers instant torque, making city driving smooth and responsive. The car will likely offer three driving modes – Eco, Normal, and Sport, allowing drivers to balance performance and efficiency.

With well-tuned steering and suspension, the car is expected to remain comfortable on both city roads and highways. Even at higher speeds, stability and handling should remain impressive. Being an electric car, it will operate almost silently, adding to driving comfort.

Features and Smart Technology

Despite its affordable pricing, the Sundak EV Car promises a premium feature list. Key highlights include:

  • Fully digital instrument cluster showing speed, navigation, and battery status

  • Touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support

  • Comfortable seats with adjustable headrests and ample legroom

  • Wireless mobile charging, cup holders, and smart storage spaces

  • Modern LED lighting, push-button start, and a rear parking camera

Safety Features

Safety has also been given importance in the Sundak EV. Expected safety features include:

  • Multiple airbags

  • ABS with EBD

  • Traction control system

  • Rear parking sensors

Higher variants may also offer advanced features like lane assist and adaptive cruise control. The car is expected to have a strong body structure, ensuring better protection for passengers.

Variants and Color Options

The Sundak EV Car is likely to be offered in three variants – Base, Mid, and Top. Buyers may get 5–6 attractive color choices, including white, black, blue, and red. There is also a possibility of dual-tone color options, enhancing the car’s visual appeal.

Comparison with Competitors

The main rivals of the Sundak EV include:

  • Tata Tiago EV: ₹7.99–11.89 lakh (315 km range)

  • MG Comet EV: ₹6.99–9.99 lakh (230 km range)

While the Tiago EV offers a longer range, it is significantly more expensive. The MG Comet EV is compact and offers less space.
In comparison, the Sundak EV strikes a strong balance between price, features, and practicality.

Being an Indian brand, service availability and spare parts are also expected to be more accessible and affordable.
